In stock condition, the engine draws air through the air filter housing under the hood. This position limits the fording depth and exposes your engine to risk during water crossings or heavy dust. With the snorkel kit, the maximum crossing depth is significantly increased, allowing your vehicle to tackle even the most extreme challenges.
